Recordist's notes

Labecca Munkuli sings a song in which a girl laments to her mother about her mistake of getting married too early, dropping out of education, and now, being trapped in the situation while her husband is taking more wives. This song is meant as a warning song for girls and Labecca truly brings it “on stage” as such. a recording made by Margaret Munkuli, community based facilitator for Zubo in Manjolo. a recording from the radio project "Women documenting women stories" with Zubo Trust, a women’s organization in Binga Zimbabwe bringing women together for self-empowerment. http://www.zubo.org
