The locals call this place ''the seven lakes''. Here in this European Natura 2000 Protected Area you can still find these typical floodplain forests with their species-rich habitats. Small streams with clear water wind through the forest valley, marshy meadows characterize the landscape. For me, the ''Langenbachtal'' is one of the most beautiful places in the Hassberge Nature Park. Especially at dusk when the evening light shines through the moss-covered trees and the forest for the last time of the day awakens, this area shows its very unique and special side.
