Recordist's notes
In the last part of our conversation, Rudi and Stefan poignantly highlight how their local struggle also raised their awareness on a global level; global environmental issues begin to reflect to them the very situation before their own doorsteps. A recent event with Wilfried Bommert was explititely following up on the wider global connections of land grabbing, environmental consumption, and local Initiatives of environmental preservation.
