Recordist's notes
recorded by: Andra McCartney http://s171907168.onlinehome.us/andrasound/lachine/e/index.php Lachine Canal: Journées Sonores Condensed from excepts over one summer. The piece begins with excerpts from two remarkable days of extreme weather change in the spring. One April 13, over the pier, seeming close to flooding. The next day, small ice pellets are thrust against the shoreline by the wind, and fill the holes between big rocks, waves making baroque melodies as they crash through. for more info, please visite the Montreal Sound Map @ http://cessa.music.concordia.ca/soundmap/en/
