Recordist's notes
construction site at the Mateckiego street. Once a small and quiet housing complex grew over the years. New apartments are being build all around the area. Construction site sounds bother the inhabitants as the works start around five in the morning, also at weekends. Only the deer that live on the grassland nearby don't seem to care. Even when there are heavy thumps and noise from the site, they don't even wake up from their sleep. The construction impacts the inhabitants on many levels. Grass spots where people used to walk their dogs have been fenced to store the building materials. A makeshift soccer field has been removed as well. Usual sounds of kids playing soccer also therefore vanished from regular weekend soundscape. (roland r-07)
