Sound recording of Newark avenue pedestrian mall in downtown Jersey City. The boulevard is lined with storefronts and restaurants. A policeman is heard exchanging with a local where at various intervals, the radio can distinctly be heard briefly interrupted by the sounds of friends gathering and a garbage collector.
