Recordist's notes
Identified Species Neotropical Bullfrog (Leptodactylus pentadactylus): The deepest, most resonant sound—a low "whoop" or "oomp" that repeats at intervals—is typical of this large ground-dwelling frog. Treefrogs (such as Boana geographica or similar species): The higher-pitched sounds, resembling short whistles or metallic "clicks" heard constantly in the background, belong to various species of treefrogs. Gladiator Treefrog (Boana boans): If you hear a sound like a sharp tap on hollow wood ("tonk-tonk"), it is very likely the call of this species, which is very common near waterways in Pucallpa. this is the twenty fourth recording I did with my sonic presence sp15c ciancaleone
