Recordist's notes
We made these recordings standing outside the dorm of my backpackers lodge, only a day before my departure from Lusaka back to London. We had recorded some poems with Peter earlier at Mulungushi and I had asked him to also record this poem, the first one I heard him recite at one of Bittersweet Poetry’s Open Mic sessions: “I see Africa through Hollywood’s eyes”… All recordings we made with Peter are archived at: http://archive.org/details/Voices_from_Lusaka_11 From: http://both-sides-of-the-zambezi.tumblr.com/
