Recordist's notes
The fishing industry has left its mark on Dungeness beach – derelict boats, disused rails and winches, metal debris, abandoned tangled nets are everywhere. Five links remain of this old rusty chain attached to something immovable underground, but it's sound rings and clinks when played with hands and stones.
