Recordist's notes

The conclusion of a ceremony marking Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day. A local man explains that it's 7/7, according to the old (lunar) calendar. Firecrackers end the ceremony. Stationed roughly center on the grassy area between Erliu Park and the temple (十三伯公 福佑宮). Stereo mics (Audiotalaia-Primo ECM 172), recorded via Olympus LS-10.
