Recordist's notes

A busy road in the jewish neighbourbood of Fes, Morocco. It was prayer time, as the imam was calling the faithful to the mosque nearby. His song came out from the megaphones on the top of the minaret and reached far enough to not cross over with the song of other mosques further away. There was a portable kitchen in the corner of the road with someone cooking some kind of meat and made a big column of smoke that depending on the direction of the wind, made it very difficult to breathe for the pedestrians. Some people greeted to me as they saw me standing still recording.
