Recordist's notes
This soundscape was recorded in winter in the Bukowe Forest, near my home, using a Zoom H5 recorder. During this season the forest is quiet and stil, and my own movements become the main source of sound. The recording includes dry and wet leaves underfoot, rain, occasional winter birds, and ravens whose calls echo through the sleeping forest. The soundscape is minimal, and its most important feature is the sense of silence.
