Resting man with a radio

recording on a water canal bank, pulsating, dense, continuous city ambience, sounds like a huge fan. passing boat, water splashing, construction workers, walking couples - suits, big sunglasses, hushed conversations words. suspicious glimpses at the recorder. and the gaijin phonographer. then a 180-degree turn. a few older man warming their bones in first blasts of spring sun. one of them listening to small, ultra lo-fi, portable radio. sudden bike roar from the bridge above strangles the relaxing, lethargic space and wraps and puts the recording to an end.
