Recordist's notes

Sennaya square is a large public transportation knot and a trading area with many small retail shops. On this recording you hear audio commercials and music coming from speakers mounted outside stores blending with sounds of footsteps, conversations, street lights signals and traffic noise. It is an example of a dense urban soundscape, lo-fi in R. Murray Schafer's terms, but vibrant and culturally interesting.
