Recordist's notes
(binaural recording, plz use headphones) A short stop in a diner called Pod Arkadami (Under the Arcades). The bar has been located there as long as I can remember but couldn't find any precise information on the web on this topic. It serves cheep, simple food and is visited by a rather unique clientele. A homeless man snorting right into his soup is not an unfamiliar sight there. It wasn't busy the day I recorded, just a few elders having their lunch. Hum of the refrigerated display case floods the room, all the cutlery rattle gets reverberated of the empty walls and concrete flooring. There are so many reflections in this room that it is impossible to talk quietly/privately. (sony d50 + luhd pm01 bins)
