Recordist's notes
While sleeping in the yard of an abandoned farm, this is the sound of the most shrill insect I have ever heard. I tested people, it's so shrill that some persons didn't hear the constant sound of this inferno insect. Tested : 16 k Hz ! Dr. Lutz Nevermann said me : " The insect sounds like Tettigonia viridissima ". The sound is the same (see wikipedia in english) and time of the day was good.
