Recordist's notes
arriving in Köln at carnival Monday (Rosenmontag) is madness, if you're not prepared or in a bad mood. however, nice things can happen: a musician with a trombone, waiting for his underground train, sees other musicians at the opposite platform and tentatively starts to play (not on the recording, too late...). the others respond, and so a spontaneous mini concert takes place. people enjoy it, until the arriving trains dissolve everything.
