Recordist's notes
One enters the cemetery coming from the Greifswalder Straße. The terrain rises, and on the upper level, one experiences the city, determining the place sonically. The noise level is so high that all the subtle sounds of the immediate surroundings are masked. After prolonged listening, a complex mix of mostly traffic sounds filtered through the vegetation of the cemetery unfolds.
