Recordist's notes

August 2004. Recorded on a compact cassette and a big tape recorder. During the Bosnia civil war, the Ottoman bridge called Stari Most was destroyed. It was rebuilt and finished in july 2004. I went back to Bosnia and especially to Mostar. There's a old tradition : people are jumping in the river Drina, to proof they would be a good husband. It's a 29 meters high jump. It's very impressive. Here is an old recording of a guy jumping into the river Drina. It's an old recall of Bosnia.
