Tai Tam Byewash Reservoir was built in 1940, during the second period of Tai Tam Scheme. You can hear the water falls from the dam to Sheung Tam Stream, sounds like an artificial waterfall. 大潭副水塘於1940年竣工,在大潭計劃的第二期工程中興建。在水壩旁你可以聽到水流流進雙潭石澗,好像一道人工瀑布。
