Recordist's notes
At the time, I was staying on Sado Island to take photos of the outdoor Noh theaters scattered around the island. On the way, I heard the echoing sound of frogs coming from an open space in the mountains, and I immediately pointed my microphone at it. The reverberation was so fascinating, it stirred my imagination. When I found this site, I immediately remembered this sound file that had been lying dormant in the depths of my memory, and decided to upload it.
