Recordist's notes

recording taken at the site of the Bunkers del Carmel. the hill is over 260m high and overviews Barcelona in every direction. In the 1930s of the 20th century during the Civil War, anti-aircraft batteries and early, imperfect systems for spotting and blinding the enemy were set up here. There were a few tourists hanging around the site on the sunny afternoon. The noise from all over the city could be heard from this spot. (roland r-07)
