Recordist's notes
The Valentin bunker in Bremen never got up and running in time during the war. Despite being heavily bombed, its brutal structure still remains; a chilling account of the horrors, forced labour and the crazed megalomania of the war. The bunker has become a habitat for birds, pigeons and swallows that nest and fly through this vast space. (Soundman OKM I Classic Solo, Zoom H5)
