Recordist's notes
The hiking path through the Hollersbachtal begins by the lake at the mouth of the valley and journeys between the mountains to the end of the valley, following a lively river most of the way. This is a recording at the beginning of the journey before entering the forest. Here, the river is about five or six meters wide and perhaps one meter deep. The current is very strong, and the white noise is very present among the serene landscape. The sound was recorded with a Zoom H5 recorder. If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of large rocks softly tumbling in the riverbed.
