Recordist's notes

…we are sitting with Burney in front of the Uganda National Cultural Centre. Some events are going on, music, and many voices in the air… Burney MC has his sketch-book of lyrics with him and recites some of his verse to me … like this one from last night… As an artist, Burney grew up in the Bavubuka All Stars Foundation and belongs to a group of artists called Abatuuze.
