Recordist's notes

04:00, Ramallah, 12 October 2019 Pre-dawn call to prayer — Fajr — recorded from a window in Ramallah. The city is quieter at this hour but not silent — the adhan cuts through a thin layer of urban sound still present in the early morning. Excerpt from a full-day ORTF recording with Neumann KM 184 microphones.
