Recordist's notes
Two recordings of a 1911 Carron Steam engine headed train passing under a footbridge. The first has the microphones suspended over the hand rail at the centre of the bridge as the train goes away. The second is along side the railway as the train passes by. The sound is abruptly cut off as the engine passes under the bridge. At the start I am "visited" by two noisy but friendly dogs.
