Recordist's notes

Ultrasonic location/hunting sounds made by 3 bats in a small car park, Sakaori, Kofu Japan. These are most likely Japanese House Bats (Abura-ko-mori - Pipistrellus abramus) which often live in urban areas. Recorded on a Zoom H5 using a simple bat detector built from a kit. The bat detector pitches down the ultrasonic frequencies to make them audible. There is no line output so I just positioned the H5 near the speaker.
