Recordist's notes

monotonous sounds from the office series. noisy hum of a coffee machine. some mechanical parts are moving in it. possibly some kind of a cooling or cleaning cycle is progressing. in the background, you can hear lunch being eaten in the empty cafeteria. after a while, the machine goes into idle mode and just subtly and hypnotically squeaks and hums until the lunch is finished.
