Recordist's notes
The recorder stands close to the pot in which vegetable broth is simmered over very low flame. The pot's lid rises when warm air lifts it, you can hear the slight bubbling of the broth and various sizzling sounds, as well as the sound of a gas stove. In the first part of the recording, you can also hear the stove heating water for the radiators and then the loud sounds of expanding metal parts in the stove as it cools down. The stove ignites again just to shut off a second later, its normal cycle. (roland r-07)
