Recordist's notes

Recording of a gas meter during its operation when the furnace heated water for the radiators. The hypnotic clatter appears to be a constant loop however, each revolution of the meter brings up an ever-changing, intricate world of microscopic and delicate sounds. The gas flow becomes slower over time and the meter sounds become less steady and stretched. (roland r-07)
