Recordist's notes
Pylons run along a clearing in the mainly coniferous woodland on the hillside. A busy road follows the coast some 300 metres below. The stream here is frozen, tracks in the snow have been made by boots, snow shoes and skis. The water in the fjord, glimpsed through the trees is a dark blue. Omni pair (Line OM-1) on stereo bar held above my head on an fully-extended monopod, the recording finished as my arms began to shake with the strain.
