Recordist's notes
The snow has stopped but there are strong winds and a heavy sea, waves crashing against rocks. In the disappearing light sea birds dive into the sea in search of food, their cries occasionally heard. I strain my eyes against the gloom but don’t see the flash of fishy success from any beak.
