Recordist's notes

The harbour area on the eastern side of the island of Tromso / Romssa has a small number of trawlers connected to the fishing industry in addition to the yachts that are temporarily moored here and the vessels that offer tourist sight-seeing. With the bars, restaurants, floating saunas, and nearby hotels, the area can attract a lot of pedestrian activity. This recording from a stereo omni pair is picking up the squeaks of a rubber fender that is protected the boat's hull from rubbing against the wooden quay.
