Recordist's notes
A small jetty that juts into the Presvannet lake (Báhpajávri in Northern Sámi) at the top of Tromsø / Romsa forms a perch for a variety of sea birds, some cry, some preen, some splash the shallow waters. Occasionally a human resident makes their presence audible: walking, cycling, talking. Traffic sounds blur from nearby roads.
About the place
Tromsø is a town of about 41,915 people in Troms, Norway. OttoAnna lists 30 field recordings from here.
