Recordist's notes
One of a series of sounds collected as part of an MA research project exploring phenomenological approaches to thinking about the aesthetics and stewardship of public space. Deptford Creek - a narrow, sheltered waterway; an inlet and offshoot of London's snaking River Thames - is one of the most biodiverse landscapes for its size in the city, and part of the dwindling 2% of Thames’ tidal river edges to remain natural and undeveloped – a crucial habitat for London’s at-risk wildlife.
About the place
Greenwich is a town of about 30,578 people in England, United Kingdom. OttoAnna lists 10 field recordings from here.
