Recordist's notes
This recording was performed on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee people. Recorded on iPhone. I sat on the grass on Lake Ontario and laid my phone there too. I heard the sound of crickets, the sound of waves. I think there was some sort of foghorn or siren in the distance, probably from the other side of the lake. I walk along this park quite a bit, but I usually tune out with earphones as I walk. There are many people who run or bike along the path as well. It was refreshing to take the earphones out and hear what I have been surrounded by.
