Recordist's notes
The Great Cataraqui River, with Kingston's 'singing bridge' in the distance, and rustling grasses. The 'Tannery Lands' are a derelict and poisoned area where there was formerly industry that used nasty chemicals and heavy metals. The ground here is heavily contaminated but it is also an area that nature is reclaiming, and you can easily see osprey, herons, otters, beaver, and many turtles.
