Recordist's notes

Recording of a famished snail, eating a carrot. This poor snail was completely starving in the garden. I embarked him and I gave him a good carrot. At the beginning, he was extremely afraid, but a few time after, he was so happy of this improvised meal ! What you hear is the radula, the snail tongue, scratching methodically the carrot. It was completely magical to hear him on the first seconds, as this is normally inaudible, I let him eating a banquet ! I named him "Gerard" the Snail ;-)
