Recordist's notes

waiting on a top deck of a ferry to get to a different part of island. ferry is rocking and moving about thus different parts of the boat make strange noises due to the body bending a little. A rather big container attached to the deck also made very distinct cluttering noises. But all of the sudden it turned out it's not the container but sound from the boat speakers was being chopped as the boat was low on power and probably not enough power was being delivered from its batteries. As soon as the boat operator turned on the engines these strange cluttering noises changes into techno music. it was pretty surprising. (roland r-07)
