Recordist's notes

A fall morning at the venue where John Cage's composition 4'33" was premiered on August 29 1952, performed by David Tudor. The concert hall was not open but I was interested to see what a minimal structure it is - bare boards with wide gaps between, no insulation for cold. Listening inside the Hall would be almost like being outside. It is also very beautiful in its simplicity.
