Recordist's notes

A very windy day near the Grillwiese, an open meadow that may soon be developed following current Senate plans. Recorded on April 25, 2026, this soundscape captures the rustling leaves of a birch tree in the wind, fragments of conversations in different languages carried through the air, children playing nearby, and cyclists and skaters passing by. The recording was made using a stereo ORTF setup with Clippy microphones and a Sound Devices MixPre-6 recorder.
