Recordist's notes

Upper Kinnaur Valley is fully tibetan buddhist area (as Spiti, Lahaul or Ladakh). Was invited for a salt tea in a family's compound. Out of the blue, some elders showed up and began a puja (buddhist ceremony) in this noisy domestic environement. Kind of magic instants. Recorded with a Sony Minidisc player and a Sony ECM-MS957 mic (traveling light for long trips).
