Recordist's notes
Recording in front of the high school building on a Sunday morning. The street was completely empty. At first only two cyclists pass by talking and just one woman walks by. You can hear cooing pigeons on the roof of the school and drops of water falling from the parapet and crashing on a metal encasing by the building wall. Poznanska Street is the only street in the city that has not been covered with asphalt and and remains covered with cobblestones. You can hear the characteristic sound of wheels on the stones, sounding like thick raindrops falling on the tarp of a tent. Fortunately, it was an electric car so only the sound of the wheels was recorded without being tarnished by the roar of the engine. (roland r-07)
