Recordist's notes
Unsuccessful attempt to record the church bell of Lahania, which did not ring. We heard it some days later but at that time could not get a recording (in the end it is hardly worth an effort, to be honest...) Binaural recording. Artificial head microphone set up on the terasse. Microphone facing south east.Recorded with a Sound Devices 702 field recorder and a modified Crown - SASS setup incorporating two Sennheiser mkh 20 microphones.
Context
This recording was made away from larger towns, about 62 km from the nearest city in our gazetteer.
Equipment mentioned: Sound Devices recorders, Sennheiser MKH microphones and Binaural microphones. Professional location recorders (702, 722, MixPre series) with very quiet preamps.
