Village center at night. The sound of water flowing from a well, and a Eurasian Scops Owl (Otus scops) calling in the bigger one of the Platana Trees at Taverna Platanos. Binaural recording. Artificial head microphone set up on the terasse. Microphone facing south east. Recorded with a Sound Devices 702 field recorder and a modified Crown - SASS setup incorporating two Sennheiser mkh 20 microphones.

This recording was made away from larger towns, about 62 km from the nearest city in our gazetteer.
