Recordist's notes
I was sitting on the embankment above the disused oyster pits at Point Clear listening to the sound of steel cables slapping against the masts of the boats in Brightlingsea Harbour. They sounded like an ensemble of marimbas each with their own distinct pitch. The wind was buffeting the grass in front of me, the blimp, my bag - anything that was in its path. This was recorded using an Audio Technica BP4029 and a Roland R26.
