Recordist's notes

There is a large rookery on Watery Lane - a pathway that follows the trajectory of Mackney Lane and has a stream on one side. The sound of the Rooks has become dominant in the village recently as the white noise of tyres on asphalt and the vibrations of air traffic have receded. I made this recording with a Sound Devices 722 and an AT BP4025.
