Recordist's notes
This recording was made during the North Berks Football League Division Four match between Long Wittenham Reserves and Berinsfield Reserves. The recording includes many staples of the verbal culture of football including 'get rid', 'man on', 'options', 'time' and 'touch'. There was a group of children reacting to live text updates from the FA Cup 3rd Round sitting on a bench close by. I made the recording with my iPhone 5s as it was the only recording device I had to hand.
