Recordist's notes
in october 2013, the worst fires in more than 50 years struck the blue mountains, dramatically changing the landscape, visually and aurally. i set up my microphones to record the quiet wind moving through the newly formed leaves, the wollangambe river which was about 600/700m away can be heard in the distance.
